Go right. The trail is marked for Alder Flats and West Canyon Trail. You will now be walking on a wide, flat, gravel road, with a slight overall incline. WebWater, a lot of time, and with an understanding of the elevation gain will be important. This hike to the viewpoint of Alder Flats (overlooking the ears) takes around 2 hours to reach the lookout and 2 hours to get back to the parking lot. You go through a lot of waterfall run off spots and can run into some snow depending on the time of year.
